Drilling rig maintenance guide: make the equipment more durable and construction more worry-free!
Dear customers, congratulations on choosing our drilling rig equipment! In order to help you use the drilling rig more efficiently and for a longer time, we have specially compiled this practical “Drilling Rig Maintenance Guide” for you. Regular maintenance can greatly reduce the failure rate, extend the life of the equipment, and help you save a lot of maintenance costs. Below, we explain to you from three levels: daily, regular, and seasonal:
Daily maintenance points (before and after each operation)
Appearance inspection: Check for cracks, oil leakage, loose parts, etc.
Fasteners: Check whether the bolts and nuts are loose, and reinforce them if necessary
Hydraulic system: Check whether the oil level is normal, whether there is leakage or abnormal sound
Lubrication maintenance: Regularly add grease to moving parts (such as chains, bearings)
Electrical/circuit: Check the cables and connection terminals to avoid aging or short circuit
Drill rod/drill bit: Check the wear condition and ensure that the interface is firm and free of cracks
Regular maintenance recommendations
Weekly: Clean the air filter to ensure smooth engine ventilation
Monthly: Check the hydraulic system and oil pipe seals to prevent hydraulic pressure loss or leakage
Every 100 hours: Replace the engine oil and filter
Every 200 hours: Check the fuel system, clean the diesel filter, and ensure the fuel is clean
Every 500 hours: Check the air compressor system and cooling system to ensure the continuous operation capability of the equipment

Seasonal use recommendations
Winter:
Use low-temperature diesel and add antifreeze
Drain the water tank after shutdown to prevent freezing and cracking
It is recommended to preheat the hydraulic oil and engine before cold start
Summer:
Check the cooling system to avoid high-temperature overload
Improve ventilation and sunshade to avoid long-term exposure to the sun
Check whether the hydraulic oil temperature is too high
Common maintenance misunderstandings
Ignore small problems and lead to major failures: If oil leakage and abnormal noise are not handled in time, the damage will be expanded
Use inferior lubricants/accessories: affect equipment performance and even cause system damage
Non-professional operation and maintenance: It is recommended that trained personnel perform maintenance tasks
